About me:

As the header of this site suggests, my name is Thomas Klein. I was born near Stuttgart/Germany in 1970 and have been taking aircraft photos since 1989. From 1990 to 93 I studied in Cologne and Mainz and later moved to Berlin for some years. Since 2000 my home airport is Luxembourg.

About this site:

FlightPhoto.net was set up as a platform to display my aviation photos. I have always been fascinated by civil aviation and try to capture the atmosphere of a moment in the aviation environment. Even though there are many "standard shots" on this site, my main interest are those special pictures taken in specific light or weather situations, showing the action at an airport, focussing on details etc.... Some samples of my personal favourites can be found here, but please also feel free to browse the data base.
